Nut Point Centre   

The Nut Point was founded in October 2003 as an art Studio/Gallery by John Allan.

Since 2005 the Centre has been organising and hosting

“The Annual West Melton Art Event”.

In 2007, the Centre initiated music performances (Mainly Classical  &  Classical Jazz ),

Performances can be conducted  in a unique venue, combining  formal ,yet a warm & friendly environment.

The Centre’s   activity is also harnessed onto charity events such as concerts or art auctions , donating all revenues (No Expenses Deducted) to charity.

So far the Centre  has annually supported  organisations such as :

SPCA Canterbury, Willow bank wildlife hospital, WASPA and others.

Since  2007 The Centre also became active in re-establishing New Zealand Native Plants.
